Thank you for your comments! Yes, there is no denying that learning did occur. And yes, much of the learning that did occur is something that is not aligned with the core educational goals of most schools, including colleges and universities. What we are hoping happens moving forward is two fold: (1) acknowledge that the students returning to campus this fall (or later, depending on this Delta variant) are NOT the same students that left back in March and (2) address the existing inequities in education that predate the pandemic.
