Thank you for sharing your perspective on this issue. We agree that the recent decisions are more of a slap in the face to those who have worked so hard to make progressive strides in this culture. Race is a very real and very affective identity trait that drives social outcomes. For a social institution with such high ranking authority in this country to use a color-blind approach to anything is problematic.
