Learning is Challenging When Buried Under Piles of Homework and Student Loan Debt
A major issue college students face today is the overwhelming combination of intense academic workloads and the burden of student debt. Balancing schoolwork, part-time jobs, and personal responsibilities is already challenging enough, but the looming reality of student loans only adds to the stress.
Students are constantly juggling these demands, and it often feels like no matter how hard you work or how much time you put in, debt will still follow you long after graduation. For me and tons of people like me, this creates an ongoing cycle of stress and financial pressure that can have lasting effects on students’ well-being and futures.
One potential solution is for colleges to increase financial support through programs like FAFSA, but that alone isn’t enough. We need a broader rethinking of how we fund higher education. Instead of wasting taxpayer dollars on areas that don’t directly improve the lives of everyday people, why not invest in making four years of college free?
